“Freeze Watch” Issued in Parts of N.J. Tonight

Temperatures dipped below freezing Monday morning

There was frost on the pumpkins in parts of the Garden State Monday and temperatures are expected to remain cold.

Early-morning temperatures were below freezing in Millville, Lakehurst, Sussex and Somerville.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch from late Monday night until Tuesday morning for Salem and Gloucester counties.

Forecasters say many more places should have temperatures at or below the freezing mark except for possibly along the Delaware River and in urban areas.
