Frank Rizzo may soon walk again. And talk again.
Philadelphia's Theatre Exile has inked a deal to bring the best-selling biography of Philadelphia's larger-than-life mayor to the stage.
Canuso, artistic director of Theatre Exile, tells The Philadelphia Inquirer it's still in the very early stages.
The play will be an adaptation of Sal Paolantonio's 1994 book, “Rizzo: The Last Big Man in Big City America.”
Paolantonio is a former Inquirer politics reporter who now covers the NFL for ESPN.
