Greg Wade used to design wedding gowns.

Somewhere along the way he retired and as he tells it, got “dragged” by his wife into being involved in The Philadelphia Home and School organization.  His dedication must have impressed the right people.  Wade rose from a regional position to become President.

It’s a volunteer position.

Greg Wade worked five days a week for no pay.

NBC10 confirmed that Wade confessed to misappropriating  $122,000 of the non-profit’s money.

Wade, who is 53, has been charged with theft, theft by deception, forgery, computer deception and related crimes.  He's out on bail and has a hearing on Monday, November 17th.
