The man known as “the foot fetish bandit” was sentenced to a minimum of 57 years for crimes in which he robbed, sexually assaulted and sucked the toes of six women.
Richard Casey, 50, was sentenced to 57 to 114 years in prison Thursday, according to Assistant District Attorney Mark Cipoletti.
Casey pleaded guilty in March to committing robberies and sexual assaults against six women between November 2006 and January 2007. The women ranged in ages from 21 to 55, and on top of the robberies and sexual assaults, Casey forced each woman to remove her shoes so he could suck their toes.
The sexual assaults ranged from fondling the women to digital penetration and deviant oral sex, Cipoletti said.
Casey has a criminal record dating back to childhood, said Cipoletti.
