Foggy conditions have been causing some flight delays at Philadelphia International Airport, but forecasters say conditions are improving and have cancelled a weather advisory.
Airport spokeswoman Victoria Lupica says some arriving flights Sunday have been delayed for as much as 2 hours due to the fog.
The airport is advising travelers to check on their flight status by calling airlines, looking on www.phl.org or calling the toll-free flight information number: (800) 745-4283.
The National Weather Service had issued a dense fog advisory, but cancelled it around noontime Sunday, saying some patchy fog remained but visibility had improved to a mile or more and continued improvement could be expected in the afternoon.
