Flight from Philly to Kentucky Canceled Due to Odor in Cabin

A flight that was scheduled to fly from Philadelphia to Kentucky Sunday was canceled due to an odor in the cabin.

American Eagle Flight #5077 was due to fly from Philly International Airport to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport when an odor was discovered in the cabin just before takeoff.

The aircraft never went airborne and the plane returned to the gate where the 45 passengers deplaned. No injuries were reported.

Officials have not yet revealed the source of the odor. A maintenance team is inspecting the plane.
