A firefighter from Darby borough suffered an electric shock battling a house fire in Colwyn, Delaware County, late Sunday. He's been hospitalized.
Another firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene, according to fire officials.
The blaze broke out inside a twin home on the 200 block of Walnut Street around 6:30 p.m.
The house and the adjoining property were destroyed.
Crews were able to knock down the flames and get things under control just before 8 p.m.
There are no reports of any other injuries.
