Penn Doctor Laid to Rest

Funeral services will be held Monday for a beloved local surgeon who was killed in Iraq.

Dr. John Pryor of the University of Pennsylvania was working in Iraq as an army trauma surgeon.
     
He was killed by enemy fire on Christmas day.
     
Dr. Pryor was 42-years-old and is survived by his wife and three children.

Family, friends and even patients of Dr. Pryor attended a weekend wake in Moorestown, N.J.
     
All flags in New Jersey are to be flown at half-staff Monday.
     
A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday morning at 10 at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Center City, Philadelphia.
