Two young brothers were killed and one was injured after their father shot the boys on Thursday. Alfred Moton of Pennsauken, N.J. allegedly set fire to his home and was killed when he charged police with a gun.
Two young brothers were killed and another critically injured after being shot by their father around 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
Steven Moton, 12, was found dead in the house. The other boys ran from the home after being shot, according to officials.
Moton's 18-year-old son, Alfred Jr., was found dead on a nearby street, said police, while his brother, Charles, 16, lay injured on another street.
The 54-year-old father allegedly set fire to his home then charged at police with a gun in his hand. Officers fired multiple times, killing the man.
The mother of the children was working at the time of the shooting, said the paper.
Investigators were working to determine what led Moton to shoot his children.
