Emergency crews are on the scene of a deadly pedestrian accident in Northeast Philadelphia. It happened just before 11 p.m. Wednesday at Roosevelt Boulevard and Rhawn Street.
Police told NBC10 a man and his 5-year-old son were hit while crossing the street. The man died, the child is being treated at Saint Christopher's Hospital.
Police say the driver fled the scene but was taken into custody at another location.
