Fatal Accident in Northeast Philadelphia

A fatal accident took place in Northeast Philadelphia.

At about 10:40 p.m. on Saturday night, a driver lost control while taking the turn at the intersection of Red Lion and Norcom Roads near Northeast Philadelphia Airport.

The driver's car careened off the curve and caught on fire.

One person in the car has died. Another person is in critical position at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
