A 70-year-old woman was found dead outside her home early Thursday on West Bells Mill Road in Chestnut Hill.
Blood was found on the door to the house, according to police, who are calling her death "suspicious."
Investigators say the woman was pronounced dead just after 9 a.m.
They are awaiting autopsy results.
