Police issue a Silver Alert after an elderly couple fails to return to their South Jersey home.

Elderly Ocean City Couple Missing

John and Ellen Bligh left their Ocean City home on Saturday afternoon and never came home. Relatives say the couple sometimes becomes confused.

An elderly man and woman left their Ocean City, NJ home on Saturday afternoon and never returned, according to the Ocean City Police Department.

John Bligh, 78, and his wife Ellen Bligh, 70, were last seen by family members driving away from their home on Glenwood Drive at 3:30 p.m.

Relatives say both John and Ellen Bligh become confused at times and may be in the early stages of dementia.

The couple frequents McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts in Ocean City and the Shoprite and Burger King in Marmora.

They were last seen driving a white 2004 Toyota Camry with New Jersey registration ZBE80J.
