Man accused of shooting neighborhood handyman

An elderly North Philadelphia man was charged Wednesday with killing a neighborhood handyman during an alleged argument over a woman.

James Brown, 82, is accused of shooting Kenneth (Kenny) Butts, 52, in the mouth around 5 in the evening.

Police arrested Brown after the shooting on the 2600 block of Ingersoll Street.

Neighbors told NBC10 the alleged shooter believed Butts was talking to his girlfriend.

No word on bail for Brown.
