Elderly Couple Dies as New Jersey House Bursts Into Flames

Police say a fire that killed an elderly couple in New Jersey appears to be accidental.

Flames engulfed the Manchester Township home of 84-year-old Warren Hollander and 82-year-old June Hollander on Friday night.

Manchester Township Police Capt. Todd Malland tells the Asbury Park Press the investigation seems to indicate the cause of the fire was accidental. However, the exact cause has not been released by authorities.

The fire is being investigated by township police, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office and the Ocean County Fire Marshal's Office.
