Eagles Milestones: Carson Wentz's Consistency; Jake Elliott's Leg

The Eagles will try to reach the bye week Sunday with a seven-game winning streak, with the 3-4 Broncos standing in their way.

In this week's Eagles Milestone Watch, we keep an eye on the Eagles' rush defense, scoring offense, Zach Ertz, Carson Wentz and Jake Elliott.

• The Eagles are riding a streak of six straight games in which they've rushed for 100 or more yards and allowed fewer than 100 rushing yards. This one will be difficult to continue against Denver's top-ranked rush defense, but if the Eagles do record a seventh consecutive such game it will be the longest streak in the NFL since the Ravens had an eight-game streak in 2007. A seventh consecutive game would also match the sixth-longest streak in NFL history.

• If the Eagles score 26 or more points for a seventh straight game Sunday, it will match the longest streak in franchise history scoring at least 26 points. The Eagles scored 26 in seven straight games over the 2003 and 2004 season and again in 2010.

• Ertz has a touchdown catch in four straight games. With a TD catch against the Broncos, he would become the eighth Eagle with a TD catch in five straight. Jeremy Maclin, DeSean Jackson, James Thrash, Tommy McDonald, Bobby Walston and Pete Pihos have had five-game streaks. Mike Quick set the franchise record of six in 1985.

• Carson Wentz is already one of 11 quarterbacks in NFL history to open a season by recording a passer rating of 83 or higher in his team's first eight games. If he posts a rating of 83 or higher Sunday, he would be the 10th to open a season with nine straight, joining Troy Aikman, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer, Philip Rivers, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford and Kurt Warner.

• If Elliott makes a 50-yard field goal Sunday, he'll be the first Eagle kicker ever to make a 50-yarder in four straight games. He's already the first to make a 50-yarder in three straight games in 45 years since Tom Dempsey in 1972 (52-yarder vs. Lions, 54-yarder vs. Cards, 50-yarder vs. Giants). Elliott is actually the first Eagle to even attempt a 50-yarder three straight weeks since Luis Zendejas in 1988 (he missed two of three).
