Investigators say they arrested four people and ended up seizing a total of $1.8 million in heroin during a raid in northeast Philadelphia.

Police say they believe the house was being used as "stash house" for drugs in an extensive operation. Some neighbors say they were shocked when the house was raided Tuesday. But others had long complained about drug activity in the area.

Later, police served another search warrant at a house nearby, seizing cash and a weapon.

The suspects arrested are charged with drug counts and are being held on bail.
