A driver leads officers on a wild chase overnight, slamming into several cars before crashing in Southwest Philadelphia.

Police were attempting to pull over the driver for speeding just before midnight on Monday, but he took off.

Authorities say the man and his passenger crashed into two parked cars, and then hit a car with two people inside at the intersection of 46th and Springfield Avenue.

The female victim inside that car suffered minor injuries, and the male victim was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent surgery.

Police say the driver took off running after the crash. Authorities are working to track him down.

His passenger was arrested on the scene.
