The woman behind the wheel of a car that collided with a SEPTA bus in Collingdale on Friday has died from her injuries.

The driver of a Chevrolet that collided with a SEPTA Route 131 bus in Collingdale on Friday has died,  Collingdale Police chief Bob Adams told NBC10.

The crash happened around 12:45 p.m. on the 1200 block of MacDade Boulevard.

When police arrived on the scene they found Laneshia Major of the 100 block of Wayne Avenue, unconscious behind the wheel of the Chevrolet. Investigators determined the bus stopped to pick up a passenger and the Chevrolet slammed into the back of it.

Major was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center and died Sunday of multiple blunt force injuries, according to Adams.

Twelve bus passengers and the bus driver were injured.
