Driver Hurt, Homes Evacuated After Car Strikes House

    A driver was hurt and several homes were evacuated after a car crashed into a home in Gloucester City, NJ Wednesday night.

    Investigators say the car was traveling on the 400 block of Hudson Street shortly before 8 p.m. when the driver somehow lost control. The vehicle struck the side of a house on 417 Hudson as well as a gas line.

    The driver was taken to the hospital. Officials have not yet revealed his or her condition. Officials also say some of the homes in the neighborhood were evacuated though they have not yet revealed how many.
