Teacher Stole From Students, Fellow Teacher: Cops

Doylestown teacher stole student fees for books, and took another teacher's license to withdraw $5,000 from her bank account

A suburban Philadelphia elementary school teacher has been charged with stealing money from fellow teachers and money raised for student activities.

WPVI-TV reported Thursday that 33-year-old Carolyn Trymbiski allegedly withdrew $5,000 from another teacher's bank account after stealing her driver's license.

Doylestown police Chief James Donnelly says Trymbiski also swiped money that had been collected from students that was to be used for reading books and other items.

Trymbiski was charged last month with theft, receiving stolen property and identity theft.

Trymbiski's lawyer tells WPVI-TV that his client intends to make full restitution.

It was not immediately clear if Trymbiski would return to her job in the Central Bucks School District this fall.
