A trailer hauling live chickens caught fire on a Delaware highway.
News outlets report Delaware State Police advised motorists to expect delays following the Thursday afternoon fire on southbound Del. 1 just south of the Dover toll plaza.
The condition of the chickens hasn't been released. A photo released by the DSP shows extensive fire damage to the trailer.
No further details have been released.
