The shooting happened around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning in Voorhees. Authorities tell NBC10 that one man was found shot and killed inside a car on the 3400 block of Avalon Court.
Police say they stopped another car on Centennial Boulevard, and the man inside shot himself when officers told him to get out of the vehicle, according to Voorhees Police.
That man was taken to Virtua Hospital in Voorhees. No word on his condition.
The shooting is under investigation by the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. The relationship of the victims or a motive for the shooting has not been released.
