A car pulled up to a man in South Jersey and someone inside opened fire leaving not only that man but another man also hurt.

The double shooting along Orchard Road in Vineland, N.J. was one of two double shootings in the area overnight.

According to Vineland Police, someone from the car shot at the first victim around 12:30 a.m. Friday. That victim tried to flee into a nearby home.

As the victim ran towards the house, another man was struck, according to police.

Both men were rushed to Cooper University Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The car drove off following the shooting.

Just after 4 a.m., gunshots rang out across the Delaware River in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Police said that a man and a woman were shot along Lancaster Avenue near Paxon Street in the city’s Parkside neighborhood just as they exited an after-hours club.

Police Chief Inspector Scott Small said officers patrolling the area heard the gunshots and rushed to the scene.

“They found two shooting victims – a 25-year-old female was shot one time in the arm and a 36-year-old male was shot in his arm and his abdomen,” said Small.

Small said the officers rushed both victims to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania where the woman remained in stable condition Friday morning while the man was in critical condition while undergoing surgery.

Investigators said the couple had just walked out of Club Halo when they were shot.
