Patrick Latko was arrested for allegedly stabbing Diana Patterson and her son Ryan to death in their Hammonton, N.J. home. Latko is said to be a friend of Ryan's and even had a photo together posted to Facebook.

Patrick Latko’s profile picture on Facebook is a goofy photo of him and four friends in a car together. One of the friends is the man Latko is accused of murdering.

Latko is accused of stabbing to death 29-year-old Ryan Patterson and Patterson's mother 64-year-old Diana in their Hammonton home Nov. 3.

The man arrested on charges of stabbing Ryan Patterson 20 times and Diana Patterson more than 10 not only has a photo of Ryan Patterson as his profile picture, but is tagged in numerous pictures with his alleged victim.

According to photos and friends’ comments on Facebook, 32-year-old Latko attended Pennco Tech, a career training school, with Ryan Patterson. On Jan. 20 of this year, Ryan Patterson commented on a photo in which he and Latko are tagged with the words “ahhhh the pennco days...............LOL.

While the community tries to come to grips with the tragedy, police are busy trying to find a killer.

But the camaraderie that appears in the photos no longer exists. Ryan Patterson was found dead in a bedroom of his mother’s house 6:30 a.m. that Thursday while Diana Patterson’s body was lying in the kitchen near the back door. A knife was found half a mile from the house.

Sources told NBC Philadelphia weeks ago that a love triangle is being investigated as a possible motive. In the meantime, most of Latko and Patterson’s mutual friends seem baffled and shocked by the accusations.

“Well i still dont know what to think, I was the one who had to tell him the day the news broke that his buddy was dead and the look on his face wasnt that of a murderer,” Richard Patterson wrote on Latko’s page Thursday.

Another friend on Facebook, Zach Stahre, wrote a message on Latko’s page voicing his disgust that Latko wrote about mourning the loss of his friend Ryan Patterson on Facebook.

“We were all friends in school and I can’t believe you go and do this,” Stahre writes.
