Double Homicide in Atlantic County Hotel

Police found two men dead in an Atlantic County, New Jersey hotel early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the Red Roof Inn on East Absecon Boulevard in Absecon just before 5 a.m., and found 22-year-old Diante Owen, of Pleasantville, and 22-year-old Gerald Alvarez, of Mays Landing, dead from gunshot wounds, according to investigators.

Autopsies are scheduled for the two victims, officials said.

Authorities are investigating whether two other shooting victims are connected to the homicide. Two men arrived at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with gunshot wounds Sunday morning.
