2 Discount Stores Robbed

Two different discount stores were robbed Saturday night leaving police in two states searching for clues.

Armed robbers stole a large amount of cash from the Dollar General store on the 2800 block of Ridge Avenue in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia shortly after 9 p.m., according to reports.

Philadelphia Police could be seen inside the store following the heist searching for evidence.

A separate armed robbery occurred as employees of the Dollar Tree on the 200 block of South Main Road in Vineland, N.J. were leaving around 10:30 p.m., according to reports.

Reports indicate the suspects in the second theft took off with the store's night deposit.

Police didn't release descriptions of any suspects involved.
