A pizza deliveryman says he was the victim of a frightening armed robbery Monday near the Jersey shore. The attack happened in broad daylight.

Ricardo Rubio tells NBC10 he was delivering a pizza to an address on Nutmeg Court in Hamilton Township. Rubio says he was approached by three men wearing ski masks. At least one of them had a gun.

“They told me … don’t look at me, just put your face on the floor and that’s it” said Rubio.

Rubio, an employee of Frankie’s Pizza in Mays Landing, said he gave the robbers the cash he had in his pockets, about $350.

“I don’t want to take any chance, if they gonna shoot me or not, so I give the money and try to keep away of the risk” Rubio said.

Monday’s holdup followed a pair of armed robberies in Atlantic City Sunday night.  Two Papa John’s drivers were involved.  One was assaulted, the other doused with pepper spray.

Police don’t know if the robberies are connected, but they are not  ruling it out.
