Delaware State Police arrested a 19-year-old Newark man after seizing a large amount from his home.
Police arrested Gerardo Hernandez Friday on the 2400 block of Olden Avenue after they found more than 4,000 bags of heroin, over $5,000 in cash and two guns in a bedroom he was occupying.
Hernandez was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a tier 5 quantity and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony. He is being held on $50,000 cash bail.
