Delaware health officials say a tattoo business in the Elsmere area has been shut down because of concerns about unsterile equipment.
The state Division of Public Health says True Heart, a body art business on Kirkwood Highway, has been forced to close after it was found in violation of state regulations.
Officials say they're contacting the hundreds of customers who have visited the shop since September of last year to encourage them to get medically tested for hepatitis and HIV, which may have been transmitted.
A phone message left at a listing for the business was not immediately returned Saturday.
