New Castle County Police are investigating an armed robbery involving four people in front of an apartment complex.
County Police responded to the unit block of Fairway Road in the Hunters Crossing Apartment complex for a reported robbery shortly before 8p.m Saturday. When officers arrived, the victims indicated that while they were standing outside an apartment building talking amongst one another, they were approached by four men who demanded their property - one of which was armed with a handgun.
The investigation revealed the suspects stole property and an undisclosed amount of cash from two victims, both of which were from the Newark area, prior to the suspects fleeing from the area.
