Del. Police Hunt Fraud Suspect

Suspect tried to withdraw money using N.J. man's identity

Delaware State Police are searching for a fraud suspect and are asking for the public's help.

Investigators say the male suspect entered the TD Bank on Marsh Road in North Wilmington at around 3 p.m. on the afternoon of October 14 and tried to remove money from a victim's bank account by using a fake New Jersey identification card.

The bank teller refused to complete the transaction and the suspect fled the bank.

The suspect is described as a black male of an unknown age. The victim has been identified only as a 37-year-old New Jersey man.
