Delaware State Police say a Newark man was shot multiple times before he collapsed to the ground.
Troopers found the 41-year-old man lying on the ground in Glasgow after responding to a call of several gunshots on Wednesday night.
They say the man had been shot in one location and then fled until he could no longer run.
The man was taken to a local hospital and is being treated for his wounds. He's in serious condition.
Police say the investigation is in its preliminary stages and that further details will be released as it continues.
