Delaware State Police say they've arrested a Rehoboth Beach man who stole his grandmother's credit card and used it to purchase more than $2,500 worth of items.

Troopers say they arrested Maxwell Schenck on Friday at a home on Grandview Street in Lewes and charged him with theft and 61 counts of unlawful use of a credit card. Troopers say Schenck was living with his 82-year-old grandmother when he took her credit card. He used it to make purchases at Wal-Mart, Safeway, Royal Farms and Ruby Tuesday.

Troopers arrested Schenck after an anonymous tip.

He is being held on $126,000 bail.
