Del. Man Charged With Shooting Near Home

Delaware State Police have arrested a man after shots were fired near a neighbor's home. Police believe the shooting was provoked by a dispute over ATVs.

Troopers were called to Firetower Road in Camden-Wyoming about 6:30 p.m. Monday for a complaint about ATVs being driven on the road.

Police taked to some youths, but no arrests were made.

Troopers notified 66-year-old James Erbaugh, who had made the complaint, and said he seemed unhappy with the outcome.

Troopers were called back to the area a short time later for a report of a shooting.

Police say Erbaugh fired several shots from a .22 caliber handgun in the direction of a dirt pile about 160 feet from a neighbor's home.

Erbaugh was charged with seven counts of reckless endangering and other offenses.
