Del. Man Breaks Into Home of Estranged Wife: Police

Hours after being arrested for damaging home of estranged wife, man returns and enters her house, according to police

32-year-old Eric Bodine, of New Castle, Del., was taken into police custody twice in one day, for trespassing on the property of his estranged wife, according to authorities.

On Friday afternoon, officers were called to Bradbury Drive in the community of Coventry, where a woman told police her estranged husband came to her house, damaged two screen windows, and broke a glass window at the back of her house.

Police took Bodine into custody. During his arraignment, he was given $750 unsecured bond and told not to have any contact with the victim.

Just a few  hours later, a neighbor dialed 911 after spotting Bodine climbing through the window of the victim's home.

Police took Bodine into custody again.

He's charged with criminal mischief, criminal trespass, and violating a court order.

Bodine is at the Howard Young Correctional Facility after failing to post $2,000 cash bail.
