Del. Brothers Catch Shark

Two Delaware brothers made a startling discovery while surf fishing at Cape Henlopen State Park last Monday.

Delaware Online reports that the brothers caught and released a sand tiger shark.

They say that the shark was 8-feet-long and weighed at least 250 pounds.

They caught the shark about 200 yards offshore, using a 14/0 hook and a 50-pound line, according to Delaware Online.

Once they arrived back on shore, they snapped photos with the shark before releasing it safely back into the ocean.

Tiger sharks are not allowed to be kept and must be released immediately according to Delaware fishing regulations.
