Time flies, eh?
One month ago tonight I came home to find our little Mama Kitty becoming a mom! She may not like me but she really loves her kittens...
Because we are not keeping the little guys I have tried not give them names that are too personal...so I have come up with a few names that can easily be changed.
Speckles -- because she looked at first like she just had a few spots when she was born. Her eyes are blue and she never cries.
Tuxie -- she has the biggest dark eyes you've ever seen on a cat and she always explores her surroundings. Tuxie has no fear.
The Twins -- the two gray tigers. At first I thought one was a girl and the other was boy... now I'm not too sure.

First Born -- the tan kitty, who like his younger sister, also came down with a cold. I'm happy to report that after a week of giving antibiotics and eye drops, all kittens appear to be cold free. Now we are on to other unpleasent tasks like worming, which isn't as bad as it sounds, and flea treatment (I'll spare you the details!).
Buddy -- I'm asked all the time about the little black kitty that my husband named Buddy. We hope she can join the rest of the pack very soon.
I am so thrilled so many of you have enjoyed reading the blogs and asking me about the kittens. We plan on housing them until they are able to go up for adoption... but if you just can't wait, I promise there are many other loving kitties that need homes at shelters all over the area.
Kitten season is upon us and there are already too many adorable little guys and gals and not enough shelters to house them...
Keep reading as in the coming weeks we make our first vet trip and there's even talk of putting the kittens on TV!
