A motorcyclist died from his injuries after he crashed into an SUV in Philadelphia overnight.
The 23-year-old man was riding a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on C Street and crossing Roosevelt Boulevard around 12:40 a.m. Saturday when he lost control and crashed into a 2004 Nissan Murano that was traveling westbound on C Street.
The victim suffered severe head trauma. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:22 p.m. Police have not yet released his identity.
The driver of the Nissan Murano stayed at the scene and was not injured during the crash.
