Authorities say a second man has died after being wounded in a shooting at a weekend cook-out at a Philadelphia park.
Police say 37-year-old Shawn Ortego died Monday, a day after he and another man were shot during a barbecue in Fairmount Park.
Homicide investigators tell the Philadelphia Daily News that Ortego was one of several people who got into an argument with the group of picnickers that included 25-year-old Steven Akridge. Ortego and Akridge were both wounded when gunfire broke out.
One person was brought in for questioning following the shooting but released without being charged.
The shooting remains under investigation.
