Driver Dies After Cab Crashes Into Brick Wall

A Philadelphia cabdriver died after his vehicle slammed into two homes Friday morning.

The driver’s All City taxi smashed into the brick wall in front of the row homes at the corner of 63rd Street and Spruce Streets in the Cobbs Creek section of the city.

According to Philadelphia Police accident investigators, the cabbie suffered some sort of medical episode before crashing into the front steps.

Medics rushed the unidentified driver to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania where doctors pronounced him dead.

No one inside the home was hurt.
