A small dead whale has washed ashore in Atlantic City.
The Press of Atlantic City reports that the whale was discovered Thursday morning below Central Pier near the Martin Luther King Boulevard Beach. The whale was roughly 10 to 12 feet long.
Excavators and chains dragged the carcass from the surf to a site near Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The whale's cause of death wasn't immediately clear.
