Gov. Chris Christie will be among the mourners attending the funeral for the New Jersey Assembly Republican leader Friday.
A Mass will be celebrated for Alex DeCroce at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Parsippany before burial at Gate of the Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
DeCroce collapsed and died at the Statehouse late Monday after the lame-duck legislative had session ended.
State police said the death was heart-related.
The 75-year-old had represented parts of Morris and Passaic County since 1989. DeCroce became minority leader in the Assembly in 2003.
