The Toronto Blue Jays are in Philadelphia for two days to play the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.
David Price, Toronto’s ace pitcher, is not scheduled to pitch in the series and decided to use his down time to sample one of Philadelphia’s food staples -- a cheesesteak.
Price sent out the following Tweet about 7:45 p.m. Monday:
Price tried a cheesesteak from Steve’s Prince of Steaks and obviously fell in love with it, but he apparently had some issues if you believe the hashtag #plungermyroomplease.
It was not known if Price traveled to one of Steve’s several locations or if the cheesesteak was delivered to him, but it’s safe to say Price would eat another one given the chance (if there’s a bathroom nearby of course).
And a Tweet he sent out shortly before noon on Tuesday proved just that:
