Man Visits Home of Teen Girl He's Accused of Sexually Assaulting: Police

Authorities say a man accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in central Pennsylvania failed to appear in court and later went to the girl's home, triggering a six-hour search for him.

Twenty-year-old Austin Craley is charged in York County with statutory sexual assault, indecent assault and corruption of minors. Police said he was scheduled to appear in court for a pretrial conference Wednesday but never showed.

Authorities allege that he went to the girl's home Friday with a handgun but later fled, prompting a search in York Township involving a state police helicopter and a warning to residents to stay indoors.

Defense attorney Tom Kelley said prosecutors also sought bail revocation, alleging that he had had contact with the girl.

Police say Craley should be considered armed and dangerous.
