A building that dates back to the early 19th century was damaged by fire Sunday morning.
The Southampton Fire Company responded to the blaze at 7 a.m.at the Churchville Inn on Bustleton Pike. The responders had the fire under control after 1 hour.
The building houses a restaurant downstairs and apartments on the second story. A resident in one of the apartments jumped from a window to escape, fire officials said. The resident suffered a minor injury in the fall.
Investigators believe the blaze originated either on the second floor or in the attic.
