America's biggest single-day cycling race was run Sunday as the TD Bank Philadelphia International Cycling Championship took place for the 28th time.
Russia's Alexander Serebryakov of Team Type 1--Sanofi was the winner of the 124-mile men's race, while Germany's Ina Teutenberg of Team Specialized Lululemon beat out a bevy of contenders, including 2011 winner Giorgia Bronzini of Italy to win the 57.7-mile women's race in 2:29:08.
Ten people were taken to local hospitals from the event. It was not immediately clear if they were racers or spectators.
