A Cumberland County Sheriff officer was killed in an early morning crash Saturday morning.
Investigators say Officer Timothy Morris, 24, died at the scene of a one-car crash on Vineland Avenue, according to nj.com.
State police say Officer Morris failed to negotiate a curve and his car veered off the highway and crashed into some trees.
The accident is still under investigation.
