Traffic is moving slowly after a serious accident involving a PennDOT truck and a car in Montgomery County. The accident happened just before 10:30 a.m. Thursday on 422 in Upper Providence.

PennDOT officials tell NBC10 the car crashed into a dump truck while the crews were picking up litter.

As of noon, one lane is getting by on 422 Eastbound between the Royersford and Collegeville exits.

One PennDOT worker was hurt.

The driver and passenger in the other car were taken to the hospital in serious, but non-life threatening condition.
