Police shot, chased and tackled an alleged robber who jumped out of a window and jumped over two rooftops Tuesday morning in Southwest Philadelphia.
The man robbed a cab driver as he was parking his car, police said.
Then he allegedly went into the cabby's home with him, robbed two other people inside the home and shot one of them in the chest.
When police got to that house in the 6600 block of Dicks Street, they say the suspect fired at them. They shot back and hit him twice -- in the stomach and leg.
The wounded gunman then jumped out of a window, went up to the roof and jumped over two other rooftops trying to get away.
Police tackled him. He was hospitalized and so was the victim he's accused of shooting. Both were in stable condition Tuesday.
